Anndee Hochman is a queer Philadelphia writer who wrote the Inquirer's weekly Parent Trip column for nine years, profiling families that took unexpected paths to parenthood, including queer families. Forty-two of those profiles are collected in her 2026 Temple University Press book, Parent Trip: Unexpected Roads to Form a Family. She is also a teaching artist and a multiple Moth Story Slam winner.
