Jacen Bowman is president of Philadelphia Black Pride, which held its 27th anniversary week April 20 to 26, 2026. A Philadelphia native, he competed in the ballroom scene for 25 years and reached Hall of Fame status, and worked for decades as a professional makeup artist. He is also associate director of digital and creative strategy at the Human Rights Campaign. In June 2026 he became the first person to receive a second Philadelphia Gay News Stonewall Award.
