Huw Ware

PDC darts referee and EuroGames Cardiff 2027 ambassador

Huw Ware is a professional darts referee with the PDC and a proud Welshman who came out within the darts world. He is an ambassador for EuroGames Cardiff 2027, the first EuroGames ever held in the UK, and calls the role one of the greatest honours of his life. He moved to Cardiff at 19 and credits the city's LGBTQ+ scene with giving him the confidence to be himself, and he is now helping bring Europe's biggest LGBTQ+ sports event to the Welsh capital in July 2027.
