Victoria Sirois founded Asylum Pride House, a West Philadelphia group that provides housing and support to LGBTQ+ asylum seekers. She started it in 2022 after seeing the need while working at a national resettlement agency, and has worked in immigration for about ten years. The house shelters up to six people at a time, with priority for trans and nonbinary applicants.
