Gretchen Van Ness is executive director of LGBTQ Senior Housing, Inc., the nonprofit behind The Pryde in Hyde Park, New England's first affordable housing community for LGBTQ+ older adults. A civil rights attorney, she is a past president of the Women's Bar Association of Massachusetts. She advocates for support and community for LGBTQ+ elders, who are far less likely to have family or church networks to lean on.
