Co-owners, Rikki's Women's Sports Bar

Sara Yergovich and Danielle Thoe met as teammates on the SF Spikes, an LGBTQ+ soccer club. In June 2025 they opened Rikki's in the Castro, the Bay Area's first bar dedicated to women's sports. The bar is named for Rikki Streicher, the pioneering lesbian bar owner who opened Maud's in 1966 and helped found the Gay Games.
