Wen Cruz is a queer woman and mother who grew up in the Seattle area and started riding early. She founded the Seattle chapter of Dykes on Bikes, which held its first meeting in 2023 and now provides volunteer security, mutual aid and support at Pride and LGBTQIA+ events across Western Washington. She speaks publicly about raising a trans daughter and urges parents to support their kids.
