Sasha Velour is a Brooklyn-based drag artist who won season nine of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2017. She created and hosts NightGowns, a theatrical drag revue that has run in New York City for ten years and has raised more than $100,000 in mutual aid. In 2026 she premiered her solo show TRAVESTY, which traces the queer history of one location across different eras, and took it on tour.
