Patrick Rush

Host and co-writer, Best in Drag Show

Patrick Rush is the longtime host of Best in Drag Show, the Los Angeles pageant parody he co-wrote with Alexis Pittman, who started it from a 1990s poker night in his West Hollywood apartment. Rush has kept the show going since Pittman's death from AIDS in 1999, turning it into a major all-volunteer fundraiser for people living with HIV. The 2026 edition, an all-star 'Best Of' show, played the Orpheum Theatre on October 4.
