Brigitte Bandit is an Austin drag performer and activist often called the Dolly of Austin for her Dolly Parton-inspired performances. She serves on Austin's LGBTQ Quality of Life Advisory Commission and hosts LegiSLAYtion & Liberation, an event at Oilcan Harry's that breaks down the Texas Legislature in a comedic, educational format. She is a plaintiff in the lawsuit against Texas Senate Bill 12, which a federal judge struck down again in August 2026, and she organized the July 2026 vigil for Fourth Street's removed rainbow crosswalks.
