Edward West is the founder of ATX Trans Pride and a DJ who has performed as DJ Boi Orbison. In 2026 he expanded the festival, now in its seventh year, into a full September weekend in which every decision is made by a trans person and most staff are trans. The Austin Chronicle named him 2025 Best Curator of Queer Cowpoke Vibes for queer country parties that raise money for local nonprofits including Kind Clinic, Out Youth and Equality Texas.
