Nathan Bruemmer is St. Petersburg's LGBTQ+ liaison and the first transgender person to hold the role, appointed in late 2025. A former educator and practicing attorney, he previously served as president of St Pete Pride, where he helped found Transtastic and the Trans March, and as executive director of ALSO Youth in Sarasota. He sits on the board of Equality Florida.
