We're staying at Buddy Dive Resort, one of Bonaire's most iconic and diver-dedicated properties. Buddy Dive was built by divers, for divers — and it shows in every detail, from the on-site dive operation to the rinse tanks to the easy beach access that makes spontaneous dives at sunrise (or sunset, or both) completely effortless. This isn't a resort that happens to have diving. It's a dive resort that happens to have everything else you need. The centerpiece of this trip is the Drive & Dive package, and "unlimited" is not marketing language — it means exactly what it says. Six days of unlimited shore diving, with a rental vehicle included per room so you can chase dive sites across the island at your own pace. Bonaire has over 80 marked dive sites, most of them accessible directly from shore, each marked by a yellow painted rock on the roadside. You park, you kit up, you go in. No guides required (though guidance is always available). No schedules to keep. No limits. The package also includes a free Nitrox upgrade — meaning extended bottom times, faster surface intervals, and more diving. It includes American-style breakfast daily to fuel your mornings, free WiFi (for when you inevitably need to show someone a photo of what you just saw), airport transfers, and car insurance. Every practical detail has been handled so that your only job is to decide which site you want to hit next. Every Out Scuba attendee also receives a free goodie bag — because you deserve a little something to commemorate the week. Come Experience Dive Freedom Out Scuba exists because we believe that the ocean belongs to everyone — and that every queer diver deserves a community that feels like home both above and below the surface. Bonaire is the kind of place that strips diving back to its purest form: just you, the water, and the reef. No stress. No limits. Just the kind of underwater freedom that reminds you why you got certified in the first place. April 10–17, 2027. One week. Eighty-plus dive sites. The whole Out Scuba family. A donkey might wave you off at the airport. This is an unguided, self-directed dive. Out Scuba does not provide dive guide services, and no divemaster or guide will be leading you underwater. As stated in our waiver, each diver is solely responsible for planning and executing their own dive — this includes monitoring your own air, depth, time, and navigation, and staying within your certification level and training. You are required to dive with a buddy at all times and to remain responsible for your own safety and equipment throughout the activity. Please make sure you and your buddy have a clear dive plan before entering the water and understand each other's dive signals. Make your Deposit Today!
