Tony Vaccaro opened Tony's Corner Pocket at 817 West Dallas Street in 2006 after managing EJ's. The bar marked its 20th anniversary on October 3, 2026, and is known for drag shows, amateur dance contests and charity events. Staff and regulars describe it as a found family that stayed open for its community through hurricanes, freezes and the pandemic.
