Kevin Heard is a Detroit native who returned home in 2012 and founded the Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce to help LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs access capital, certification and contracts. In 2026 he led the chamber's expansion into the statewide Michigan Pride Chamber of Commerce, which now counts more than 140 members.
