Making Gay History: A Book Talk by John D'Emilio

Join us for a special book talk by the pioneering LGBTQ+ historian John D'Emilio, whose 2026 memoir "Making Gay History: Memoir of a Scholar-Activist" chronicles his personal coming out alongside the development of queer history as an academic field. "Making Gay History" blends D'Emilio's personal life, professional challenges, and the movement's history he was uncovering and then living over the past several decades.
