“I am proud to stand in support of the LGBTQ+ community, not only during pride, but every day.”
Dear Friends,
On behalf of District 8 in the City of Long Beach, I am honored to extend a warm welcome to the 43rd Annual Long Beach Pride Festival and Parade.
This beloved tradition is both meaningful and deeply fitting for our city. Long Beach Pride stands as a vibrant celebration of identity, inclusion, and enduring strength of the LGBTQ+ community. This year’s theme, Fearless and Free, captures the essence that our LGBTQ+ community members embody every day by having the courage to live authentically.
Pride is not only a celebration, but also a reflection. It is a time to honor the advocates and trailblazers whose voices and actions have advances equality, while also recognizing the work that still lies ahead. Here in Long Beach, we remain committed to fostering a community where every individual feels seen, valued, and supported.
As your Councilwomen, I am proud to stand in support of the LGBTQ+ community, not only during pride, but every day. I am committed to advancing equity, inclusion, and safety for all residents, and to ensuring that every member of our community can live openly and proudly.
Thank you to everyone who makes this celebration possible. Welcome to Long Beach Pride!
With appreciation and support,
Warm regards,

Councilwoman Tunua Thrash-Ntuk
