Ellie Perez, Executive Director of The LGBTQ Center Long Beach, is a dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and community resilience. From her early work opposing Proposition 8 to her leadership with the Latino Equality Alliance, she has championed support for LGBTQ+ communities nationwide. She co-founded the “You Are Welcome Here” Safe Spaces Alliance and, as a former member of the LA County LGBTQ+ Commission, continues to advance visibility, equity, and inclusion.
