Human Rights Campaign Columbus

We are HRC Columbus, one of the longest-running local chapters of the Human Rights Campaign.

Since our first annual dinner in 1983, we’ve been at the forefront of advocating for LGBTQ+ equality in Ohio. Today, our all-volunteer steering committee works year-round to:

- Advocate for pro-equality candidates and policies at the local, state, and national levels
- Host community-building events including our annual gala, Pride celebrations, and educational forums
- Partner with Central Ohio businesses and organizations to create a more inclusive community
- Raise funds and awareness for the critical work of HRC locally and nationally.
- Through this work, HRC Columbus empowers volunteers to grow as leaders while advancing the mission of America’s largest civil rights organization for LGBTQ+ equality.
