The American Red Cross's mission is to alleviate human suffering.

Among the many ways we work to serve that mission, our biomedical services team hosts regular blood drives to meet patient need and ensure life-giving blood is available to those in need.

For many years, FDA regulations prevented queer AMAB folks from donating blood, but thanks to the ADVANCE study, those regulations changed in 2023! Now more folks than ever are eligible to donate!
