QueerCalendarOur Safe Schools Program staff and volunteers share their stories with teachers, administrators, school staff, and students to help make sure that hate, bias, and discrimination have no place in the classroom.
We're seeking parents and family members of LGBTQ+ people who want to share how and why they support their LGBTQ+ loved ones. We also need LGBTQ+ folks who are excited to speak about their own journeys of self-acceptance. If you have daytime availability and would like to join our passionate volunteer team, join one of our in-person group trainings at the PFLAG NYC office. Registration required.
Dates: Monday, November 2, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, December 3, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
