Pride Out Pickleball - Social & Open Play

Join Pride Pickleball on October 24th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Barnes Tennis Center for our next Social & Open Play, with pickleball, costumes, giveaways, local vendors, and plenty of opportunities to meet some new friends.

Perfect for all experience levels, from beginner to advanced with designated court for each skill level. Join the designated experience level courts of your choice. Games will be played up to 11 points. Bring your paddle, some friends, and good vibes.

But we are bringing together way more than just pickleball! Join us for an evening of games, community, and all the good vibes with LGBTQ+ folks and allies from across San Diego. Two drink tickets included with each entry. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available. This event is strictly 21+.

Pride Out Pickleball Mission: We host 21+ LGBTQ+ social pickleball events designed to bring the community together through recreation, connection, and a shared love of the sport. Our events welcome players of all skill levels, from those picking up a paddle for the first time to experienced players, with an emphasis on creating an approachable and social introduction to pickleball. 

Pride Out Pickleball creates an inclusive, welcoming, and social space where members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies can connect through pickleball. We believe recreation has a unique ability to bring people together, build friendships, and create a sense of community. By welcoming players of every experience level and making our events fun and approachable, we aim to lower the barriers to trying pickleball while fostering an environment where everyone feels comfortable participating, connecting, and being themselves.

Ultimately, our goal is to grow both the sport and the community around it, one game at a time. 

As we continue to grow, we hope to introduce more people to pickleball, create opportunities for lasting connections both on and off the court, and build relationships with other LGBT+ and Ally organizations that share our enthusiasm for growing the sport.
