QueerCalendarThe Palm Springs Hot Rodeo rides back into the Coachella Valley May 1–3, 2026, bringing together competitors, fans, and supporters for a high-energy weekend rooted in western sport, LGBTQ+ pride, and community building.
An International Gay Rodeo Association (IGRA)–sanctioned event, the Palm Springs Hot Rodeo continues its tradition of blending authentic rodeo competition with unforgettable social events— creating a welcoming space for longtime rodeo families and first-time attendees alike. This year’s focus emphasizes connection, service, and strengthening the bonds that sustain the LGBTQ+ and Ally rodeo community year-round.
“This rodeo is about more than competition—it’s about showing up for one another,” said Eri Nox, Chapter President. “After the challenges of recent years, we’ve leaned into what makes this community special: collaboration, joy, and service. Every ticket, every dance floor moment, every volunteer hour helps us support local nonprofits and keep this rodeo thriving.”
