So honored to be part of @jethro_patalinghug ’s Manghihilot (Healer), a project that looks back to the Babaylan and reminds us that queerness has always had a place in our history.
There’s something incredibly powerful about taking what was once erased or made to feel shameful and turning it into something visible, beautiful, and healing. And getting to bring a little bit of myself into that story today felt so special.
I cannot wait for everyone to see what Jethro is creating. Please show up, support Filipino queer art, and experience Manghihilot this October. ✨🇵🇭
