For all of our efforts to post items on Linked-In and hope that people will see it, we often miss out on the tricks that get that post seen by lots of people (and isn't that the goal?)
Using the tips he has learned for Linked-In coaches, YouTube videos, and numerous articles, our host public speaking coach Milo Shapiro (he) took one of his posts from the typical 60-90 viewings all the way past 5000 when he last checked. And it was all doing things that are free, within Linked-In rules, and easy.
In this Power-Lunch, Milo will guide us in numerous do's and don'ts of Linked-In (some of which may surprise you!) and then we'll all participate in adding the comments to each others' posts that are shown to greatly boost the number of people who will see it. The more who come, the more the benefit we'll all see in that post.
We really can get through everyone's turn in an hour IF these nine simple prerequisites can be met by you. (Nine sounds like a lot, but they really are Linked-In and Zoom basics):
Zooming on a desktop or laptop, not a phone or pad device so directions are the same for all Knowing how to use the Chat function of Zoom Knowing how to cut/copy/paste on your computer Having a webcam on so we can see you Having a Linked-In account that you arrive already logged into Knowing how to post a photo and a message with it in LinkedIn Creating a post (ideally of 100-200 words) in your favorite word processor (such as MSWord, Google Docs, etc,) which you won't post to Linked-In before the meeting Having an interesting photo on your computer (and knowing where it is) so you're ready to include it with your text when we post Arriving on or before 11am for explanations if you're a first timer (or need a review) so we can start immediately with everyone else at 11:10 without repeating instructions for latecomers If that all seems doable to you, come join us and get your message out to more people than ever in a fun way! Plus, as we discuss our posts, you'll be networking with other attendees and spreading the word that way as well.
Please register so that the person who monitors letting attendees into the Zoom room has your name. You'll be emailed the Zoom info; it also appears below in case you misplace it.
