QueerCalendarCalling LGBTQ+ South Asian Storytellers in Austin! 🌈 Storytellers will receive a $150 stipend! 💰 Applications are due November 4, 2026!
KhushATX is hosting LGBTQ+ South Asian Storytelling & Gupshup, an evening rooted in the themes of community and identity. The evening will also include chai & treats, dance performance, and small-group gupshups (chit chat) ☕️
The event is on December 5, 2026 from 4pm-8pm at Future Front.
And yes, we want to hear YOUR story!
We’re seeking Austin-area LGBTQ+ South Asian storytellers to share a true, personal story about your life and experiences. Maybe it’s about your journey, what it means to be a queer Desi, finding a place where you finally felt at home, making friends, or embracing a part of your identity.
If you have a story about community, identity, belonging, being LGBTQ+ and Desi, we’d love to hear it 🏳️🌈🫶🏽
