QueerCalendarMobility, Nerve Safety, and Body Awareness for Shibari
Are you ready to find more ease, endurance, and safety in your ties?
Whether you are a seasoned bottom or just starting your journey into shibari, your body is your most important tool. Prolonged binding, heavy compression, and suspension require unique physical resilience. This progressive, 4-part Hatha yoga series is designed specifically to prepare your body for the structural and neurological demands of rope work. The 1hr class will include a guided stretch and slow yoga flow.
Come learn how to open your body, regulate your nervous system, and move fluidly with your rigger. No yoga experience required, just a desire to build a safer, more sustainable practice.
Class 1: Chest & Shoulders | Deep upper-body opening and median nerve flossing to prevent "rope palsy" and hand numbness during takate kote and arm bindings.
Location
In Mission Valley, San Diego. Location given to ticket holders.
