QueerCalendarIt’s time to take everything we have practiced in this Intermediate series and put it to play! In this class, we'll teach ties that combine restraint, balance, and movement to create a dynamic and engaging rope experience. We will focus on a thoughtfully designed tie and explore the many ways it can be adjusted, modified, and played with.
Pre-requisites: all participants must have completed our beginner series and previous intermediate classes 1 thru 7 or have equivalent tying experience; please check our Beginner and Intermediate curriculum page for more information.
What to bring/wear: 2-3 hanks of rope, either 8m or 10m based on tying pair’s preference
Do I need a partner for this class? Partners are strongly recommended. Since we are focusing on the communication and connection side of rope, you’ll get the most out of class with a partner. If you come solo, you are welcome to observe or self-tie.
Please arrive on time, as late entry may not be permitted due to the structured nature of the material.
Location: Ember Society, Mission Valley, San Diego. Address given to ticket holders.
