We're heading to the summit of Mother Miguel aka the Rock House for the sweeping views of South Bay, Sweetwater Reservoir and the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge.
About the Route
This \~5 mile loop is a moderate hike (according to AllTrails, take that for what you will). It has some steep sections, so bring poles and grippy shoes!
Where We'll Meet
We'll meet near the trailhead by the dog park at Mount San Miguel Community Park. Pin here on Google Maps.
What To Bring
1. Water! Always bring more water than you think you'll need.
2. Sun protection!
3. Trekking poles if you have them!
