These classes emphasize foundational postures, breath-led movement, and intentional pacing to support strength, stability, and embodied presence. / Practices may move more slowly, with increased time spent in fewer postures. Clear alignment cues and multiple options are offered to support a wide range of bodies, experience levels, and capacities. This approach is supportive for newer students as well as experienced practitioners. / In this season, particular attention is given to joint preparation and steady āsana practice, with a gradual transition toward our backs for a quiet śavāsana, allowing time for integration and settling. From there, the shape of each practice is responsive to who is in the room: classes may include more low-to-the-ground postures or more standing work, with heart-opening postures always on offer. Everything is approached with steadiness and respect for the individuals who show up to practice. / Rest is always welcome. Modifications are encouraged. / / Class Rhythm, Schedule, and Additional Details / Classes follow a consistent weekly rhythm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 8:15pm — a gentle bedtime rinse at the end of the day, with lighter traffic on the roads and nowhere else you need to be afterward. / Please refer to the current schedule for exact dates and times. / These offerings are clothing-optional for those who are new and/or curious about a naked yoga practice. The invitation is to undress to your own level of comfort, in your own time. / Classes are open to gay, bi, trans, queer+ identifying men, as well as straight allies who feel they would benefit from a naked yoga practice with other men. / This is a body-positive and identity-affirming space. / All are welcome. / And all of who you are is welcome. / / Pricing & Accessibility / The standard rate for class is $25 . / A $15 supported rate is available for anyone for whom the standard rate would create a meaningful financial barrier. No explanation or permission is required. If the supported rate makes it possible for you to practice with us, please use it. / A $40 rebalancing rate is available for those who can comfortably contribute more. Choosing this rate helps offset supported-rate tickets and keep these classes accessible to people with fewer financial resources. / This model depends on shared care and honest discernment. When choosing your rate, consider not simply which ticket costs the least, but what you can sustainably contribute while respecting your own financial reality. / If you're unsure which rate is appropriate for you, you're always welcome to reach out. The intention isn't to measure or judge anyone's circumstances, but to create meaningful access while supporting the sustainability of the classes. / / About Charlie / Charlie’s practice is rooted first and foremost in Bhakti yoga — the path of devotion . From the beginning of their time in yoga studios, Charlie was shaped by teachers for whom movement was only one expression of a much larger practice grounded in reverence, relationship, and presence. / Trained in both Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga, Charlie approaches movement as a vehicle for devotion rather than an end in itself. Attention is placed less on choreography and more on listening — to sensation and the quiet intelligence of the body. / In this season, Charlie’s classes emphasize Hatha Foundations : slower, intentional practices that support alignment, strength-building, and embodied awareness. Depending on the needs of the room, classes may include gentle flow, longer pauses, and restorative elements — all held in a way that supports choice, steadiness, and sustainability. / Charlie is honored to be teaching with the San Diego Naked Yoga community and approaches each class as a shared practice — shaped by consent, curiosity, and trust in the wisdom already present within the body. / / About Healing Space / Healing Space is a beautiful and intimate studio in Ocean Beach, thoughtfully designed to support grounded, present-moment practice. The space offers a quiet, steady container for movement, breath, rest, and reflection. / Chosen with care for these classes, Healing Space is well-suited for smaller group gatherings where attention, safety, and embodiment are prioritized. Whether this is your first time practicing here or you’re already familiar with the space, you’re invited to arrive just as you are and settle into an environment built for genuine presence.
