FAQs
What do I do as a Sister? ⌄
The Sisters have a long history of spreading joy, providing comfort and assistance and being a part of our local LBGTQIA+ community. We support other organizations with their own events, by fundraising with and for them, by providing financial donations, food drives and more. As a Sister (or Brother or Cleric or Guard), you help us do this and meet the needs of our local community members.
What should I bring? ⌄
Cash. Lots of cash. KIDDING!
Bring your spirit and your desire to help others, and maybe even your desire to become a fabulous Drag Nun!
How do I become a Sister...? ⌄
By going through the motions and doing the work, by walking the walk and talking the talk. You don't just get to get into Nun Drag on day one. There are steps and milestones you need to achieve along the way. Our MON (Mistress of Novices) will be there to guide you along your path and your journey.
Do I have to be LGTBQIA? ⌄
Nope. You can be any gender expression and sexual identity you are. We do not judge you on who you are, we don't judge you - period. Whether you're Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Trans, or any of the other sexual and gender identities, even if you're straight, you are welcome here as long as you want to do the work.
Do I have to do drag? ⌄
Well, no. Not really. Maybe? If painting your face is not your thing, you can become a guard. But if you want to add a little color or jewelry? Sure.
