QueerCalendarGet ready to run or at least support the runners! We are excited to partner with our friends, Front Runners and Walkers San Diego, at the 2025 America’s Finest City Half Marathon! Join us as we will be assisting with setting up, passing out water, gathering discarded water cups and breaking the set up down. Front Runners and Walkers of San Diego will provide coffee and snacks. This is a great opportunity to get involved while giving back to our community.
Important Information for Every Volunteer to Know
Event Date: Sunday, August 17
Time: 6:45am to 9:30am
Location: 6th Avenue and Elm Street, San Diego CA 92101
Meeting Location: At the corner of 6th Avenue and Elm Street
Parking: Street parking is available around the meeting location. Please remember that many streets around the area will be closed for the marathon.
Volunteers are welcome to use public transportation or purchase parking in a different location.
Additional Details:
Face coverings are encouraged to be worn by unvaccinated volunteers
Casual and comfortable clothing
Closed toe shoes are required
Must be 16 years or older
Don’t forget sunscreen and/or a hat for sun protection
COVID Guidelines: If you or a member of your household has shown any signs/symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from volunteering at this time.
