Learn about local food resources and cook a meal with Freedges! Part 1: Feeding Yourself, a discussion about food insecurity, supply chains, and free food resources. Part 2: Feeding Each Other, understanding food safety, allergens, cross-contamination, and dietary restrictions. Part 3: Putting It All Together! We'll cook a meal utilizing free ingredients, leftovers, and dried goods. All attendees will take home a book of recipe cards, food safety basics, and a list of free food resources in and around Salt Lake City. Masks required.
