Engender: Minding the Marrow

As Queer Asterisk celebrates ten years of service, we invite you to join us for Engender: Minding the Marrow, an evening dedicated to honoring the tender, generative center of a queer existence. Engender is both a fundraiser and a community ritual. It is a space where celebration and reflection meet, where art and healing intertwine, and where our collective commitment to one another takes tangible form. The evening will feature moving performances, reflections from staff and community members, a community ceremony, a co-created art installation, and opportunities to support accessible, queer-informed mental health care. As Queer Asterisk's largest annual fundraiser, Engender helps ensure that queer and trans people can access affordable counseling, support groups, educational programs, and spaces for healing regardless of financial circumstance.
