Christopher Street West Association (CSW) organized the first permitted LGBTQ+ Parade in the world. Now in its 56th year, the Parade is a free event for all ages, taking place in Hollywood, CA.
Over 160 joyous contingents will march down Hollywood Blvd, and include bands, dancers, well-known sponsor brands giving away goodies along the route, venerable LGBTQ+ nonprofits, groups, and more!
The Parade is in the Hollywood Entertainment District, starting at Sunset Blvd at Highland Ave, then east on Hollywood Blvd, then south on Cahuenga. Prime viewing spots are: west side of Highland Ave, facing the ABC7 broadcast at Hollywood High School, or Hollywood Blvd between Cherokee and Wilcox.
The Parade has approx. 160 contingents. In 2025, there were over 120,000 spectators. If you don't want to attend in person, you can watch the Parade, live on ABC7 or Hulu. Check our website for links and details in May.
We strongly discourage bringing dogs and other pets to the Parade. The streets will be extremely crowded - in some places, the spectators are 5-deep. The day is also usually very warm.
The Parade is a free public event, open to all, and all-ages! No tickets needed!
Parking is limited, and street closures will make driving right up to the route very difficult. We strongly recommend using LA Metro, and getting off at the Hollywood & Highland, or Hollywood & Vine stops. Public transportation is better for the environment anyway!
A Parade application is required to be considered. The 2026 Parade Application is now open! Go HERE to apply!
Send an email to [email protected] with SPONSOR INQUIRY in the subject line, and we will respond promptly.
We love your enthusiasm but we are not accepting volunteers applications this year.
